We study real-world failures to help you build with confidence
Led by Dr. Yasir Al-Lebban, Ph.D., P.E., a forensic engineering investigator and structural engineering professor, Everest delivers trusted structural design and consulting for multifamily, single-family, and commercial projects by combining real-world forensic expertise with academic rigor to ensure the highest quality results.
Forensic Informed – Code Driven
Ph.D. Led Practice
New Construction Specialists
Dr. Yasir Al-Lebban is a multi-state licensed Professional Engineer specializing in structural engineering, forensic investigations, and building-code compliance. He holds advanced degrees in civil and structural engineering and has extensive experience across Florida and the southeastern U.S. on residential, commercial, and specialty structures.
His work focuses on identifying the cause and extent of structural and building-envelope damage—including hurricane and wind impacts, roof failures, moisture intrusion, foundation movement, and Florida Building Code and ASCE 7 compliance. He brings the same rigor used in challenged engineering opinions to design and consulting, supported by his experience teaching university-level engineering courses.

Commercial Design
We support contractors, architects, and property owners with clear structural design packages, fast coordination, and permit-ready documentation.
We specialize in pre-construction design and consulting, providing efficient structural solutions and code-aligned detailing that protect design intent while meeting life-safety requirements.
Permit-ready structural packages, clear details, and responsive coordination to keep jobs moving and timelines intact.
Straight answers, practical solutions, and documentation that’s easy to understand and strong enough for plan reviewers.
We bring forensic discipline to everyday design. From sealed calculations to permit-ready plans, we produce clear, code-traceable deliverables that align smoothly with architects and contractors while standing up to rigorous plan review.
Our advantage is discipline you can verify: standards committee leadership, doctorate-level rigor, and forensic experience that strengthens everyday design.
Everest’s Structural Practice Leader, Yasir Al-Lebban, Ph.D., P.E., is an active voting member of multiple American Concrete Institute committees (ACI). These include the joint ASCE/ACI Committee on Composite and Hybrid Structures (335-00), ACI Committee on FRP Repair and Strengthening (440-0F), and the ACI Committee on Polymers & Adhesives (548-0B).
Yasir Al-Lebban is a multi-state licensed Professional Engineer with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering (University of Central Florida), two M.S. degrees (UCF and University of Kufa), and 10+ years teaching structural engineering and related disciplines at the University of Kufa, University of Central Florida, and Everglades University.
Founded with a background in expert-level forensic investigations, Everest studies real-world failures to help inform design. Further, Dr. Al-Lebban is an active researcher who dedicates his time to staying at the forefront of structural practice. He has authored and co-authored 5+ technical publications, with additional research currently under peer review. His work focuses on geometric nonlinearity, composite construction, structural retrofitting, and innovative materials in building and bridge applications.

Tell us what you are building or modifying. We will respond with next steps, required inputs, and a clean scope. If timing is tight, call and ask to speak with our engineering team.
Note: Architectural services may be provided through qualified professionals where required by jurisdiction.
Fast answers to common questions. If you have a specific jurisdiction, timeline, or permitting constraint, call us and we will give you a direct path forward.
Yes, where applicable and within licensing requirements. We confirm the project location, jurisdiction, and scope up front to ensure the correct professional coverage.
Our primary focus is multifamily and apartments and new construction, and we also support residential, commercial, and industrial projects that require strict structural judgment and code compliance.
Yes. We support submittals with plan review responses, revisions, and clarifications to move approvals forward efficiently.
We can provide limited construction support and monitoring when requested, typically focused on verifying key structural elements and resolving field questions.
A short description of the project, location, any existing plans or reports, and your timeline. For existing buildings, photos and access details help accelerate the first step.
