Air Quality Testing on the Gulf Coast Is a Different Problem
A Gulf-front climate stacks the deck. Humidity that never quits feeds mold and overloads HVAC systems. Salt-laden air adds a corrosive, particulate-heavy load inland buildings never see. Renovation-heavy seasonal condos off-gas VOCs and formaldehyde from new finishes and furnishings into units that close up for months. And ventilation that seals a building tight against the coast also seals the contaminants in with the occupants.
Because these contributors overlap, a single reading answers nothing. Our air quality testing evaluates them together, including mold spores, VOCs and formaldehyde, humidity, allergens, and particulates, and evaluates the HVAC system as both a source and the distribution path, so the report says what is present, at what level, and why.
